We were thinking about going a different route this season with photo updates and 'behind the scene tours'.  This would save a lot of time with editing the podcast and hopefully more people will be willing to read and look at pictures than to sit down and listen for 10+ minutes. 

Let me know what you guys think.

off topic but maybe related, in that group of pictures is the Coliseum..
and with a history of  Cedar Point as another point and click item notice that this building was built in 1906:

I personally like the podcast better than a blog like Cedar Point. Either way, the people that are really interested are going to want to check it out while the other people probably won't care.

Better than both of those, I think SFOG should have a video on the site in which everyone sees it when they come to the site. You would create the video that shows the rides, the new stuff for 2008, and how much fun people are having at the park. Don't make it that long, but make it like a minute or a minute and a half. Put on the main SFOG page front and center. Don't make people search for it because only the enthusiasts will.

Otherwise, I think only the people that already like the park are going to care about the podcast, or the blog. You are trying to reach out to other people to come to SFOG.
